Villa Striano

The Home

Palatial is the word that describes this villa in the mountains north of Arezzo. A long private drive leads to the edge of a huge mature garden, studded with cypress trees and cradled by woodland. Two buildings lie ahead but we suspect that on arrival you’ll be drawn down the double staircase that cups a fountain to take a closer look at the vast infinity pool with to-die-for views of the Casentino valley.

Down here, you’ll also find a huge sundeck flanked by two shaded pergolas, a hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and a pool house with a sauna and bathroom. This place is as indulgent as it is grand, a theme that continues in the old stone villa and its annexe.
