The Purple Parrot Resort Village has fans! Is it the signature screened porches where guests hit the Reset Button as they watch for the Blue Angels to fly by? Maybe it is the charming architecture of this gated resort village. It could be because it is oh so close to Johnson Beach and public white sand beach accesses. It could be because of all the amenities offered - think waterfall lagoon style pool, hot tub, heated indoor pool, fitness room and poolside Tiki Bar which guests enjoy. It could be that it is a vacation destination that appeals to every type of guest and offers stays of 3 day getaways or weeks long vacations. It’s a great place to meet up with extended family for reunions or gatherings. It basically has something for everyone with an island time kind of vibe in a laid back coastal community. Add to that the complimentary excursions offered to guests via PKRM’s Perdido Keys 2 Fun Program. Guests are invited to enjoy free golf at Lost Key Golf Course or admission to OWA Amusement Park for the rollercoaster lovers. Perdido Key is a boaters paradise with its amazingly beautiful waterways so be sure to go deep sea fishing or take a dolphin or sunset cruise as our treat!
This 2 Bedroom cottage is a 2 story dollhouse. Both bedrooms have updated en-suite baths and upstairs balconies. The primary bedroom offers a comfy Queen sized bed and the guest bedroom has two twin sized beds. The downstairs is comfy and inviting and very stylish. A washer and dryer is provided so bring your beach towels. This kitchen is fully equipped to cook delicious dinners, but please make sure to try the amazing fresh gulf seafood while you are here. Enjoy shopping, local restaurants and attractions in Perdido Key and find even more in nearby Orange Beach and Perdido Key. It’s hard to pinpoint what makes Purple Parrot so popular when there is so much to love about it. Book Unit 32 C early to ensure your desired dates.

About the area
Pensacola, Florida, is a delightful coastal city that presents a rich mix of history, culture, and natural beauty. Known as the "City of Five Flags," Pensacola has been under the rule of five different powers: Spain - which was the first European power to establish control in 1559, Britain, France, the Confederacy, and the United States.
History buffs will enjoy exploring Pensacola's well-preserved historic district. The Pensacola Historic Village showcases beautifully restored buildings from various periods in the 19th century - with many dating back to the late 1800s. These structures and museums provide a window into the city's past. A short distance away at the Pensacola Naval Air Station is another must-see attraction - The National Naval Aviation Museum. It boasts one of the world's largest collections of military aircraft and thrilling flight simulators.
The city's natural allure is just as captivating. While technically part of mainland Pensacola, Pensacola Beach is renowned for its immaculate white sands and crystal-clear waters making it perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. Adjacent to it lies Santa Rosa Island with its stunning coastal views at Gulf Islands National Seashore - a haven for bird watchers.
Cultural experiences are plentiful in Pensacola too. The city has an active arts scene with numerous galleries displaying local artists' works while performances ranging from Broadway shows to concerts are regularly held at Saenger Theatre.
Food enthusiasts will find much to savor in Pensacola's culinary scene which reflects its coastal location with an abundance of fresh seafood dishes including local specialties like Gulf shrimp and Apalachicola oysters. Additionally, Southern/Creole influences add another layer to its gastronomic offerings.
In summary, whether you're drawn by history or nature or culture or food or all four combined - Pensacola offers a diverse range of experiences that cater to all types of travelers. Its rich history, beautiful beaches, vibrant culture and delicious cuisine make it a destination truly worth exploring.
