House Rules
- Welcome to our lovely Property Manager home! We're excited to have you as our guest and want to make sure your stay is both comfortable and environmentally conscious. As part of our commitment to sustainability, energy conservation, and water preservation, we'd like to provide you with some detailed guidelines to help minimize your impact during your stay.
- *1. Limit HVAC Range for Cooling:*
- To ensure your comfort while also conserving energy, we've set a cooling limit of 75°F (23.8°C) on the thermostat. Feel free to adjust the thermostat within this range based on your comfort preferences. By maintaining temperatures within this limit, you'll contribute to energy efficiency and help us uphold our commitment to sustainable practices.
- *2. Responsible Water Usage:*
- Water conservation is particularly crucial in Arizona, where water resources are limited. We kindly request your cooperation in using water thoughtfully during your stay:
- - *Shower Mindfully:* We encourage shorter showers to minimize water usage. Consider using a shower timer or setting a goal to conserve water while enjoying your refreshing showers.
- - *Dishwashing and Laundry:* When using the dishwasher or washing machine, please ensure that you're running full loads to make the most of each cycle. This helps optimize water and energy consumption.
- - *Turn Off Taps:* When brushing your teeth or washing your face, please remember to turn off the tap when not actively using the water. These small habits make a significant difference in conserving water over time.
- *Electricity Usage Guidelines for Our Home*
- 1. *General Usage:*
- - Please use electricity responsibly and turn off lights, appliances, and electronics when not in use.
- - Be mindful of your energy consumption to ensure a comfortable and sustainable stay.
- 2. *Heating and Cooling:*
- - Adjust the thermostat to a reasonable temperature when you are on the property.
- - Close windows and doors when heating or cooling systems are in use.
- 3. *Appliance Usage:*
- - Avoid running multiple high-energy appliances simultaneously.
- - Use energy-efficient settings on appliances whenever possible.
- 4. *Natural Lighting:*
- - Utilize natural lighting during the day to reduce the need for artificial lighting.
- - Consider opening curtains and blinds for natural warmth and brightness.
- 5. *Monitoring Power Usage:*
- - We actively monitor power usage through our power company to ensure responsible energy consumption.
- - In the event of excessive electricity usage, we reserve the right to contact you to discuss and address the issue.
- *Consequences for Electricity Abuse:*
- - If abnormal electricity usage is identified, an additional charge may be applied based on evidence from our power company.
- - Repeated violations may result in the loss of certain amenities or, in severe cases, the termination of the stay.
- We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines to ensure a sustainable and enjoyable stay for all our guests. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Thank you for helping us maintain a responsible and energy-conscious environment at Our Home.
