Situated in a quiet street, this spacious 3 bedroom/bathroom house features ducted reverse cycle aircon throughout, 2 dining areas (including alfresco) and 2 living areas with smart TVs, one with a sofa that converts to a sofa bed if needed. You can walk to Mount Barker’s main street and a supermarket, or it’s an easy drive to the Laratanga Wetlands, wineries, Hahndorf town and walking trails. The house comes with a double lock up garage and space on the side for a boat, caravan or trailer.
The Space:
Enter the house into an entrance hall with a stylish indented shelf displaying designer homewares. A corridor then brings you into a L-shaped open-plan kitchen/living/dining space with tiled flooring, ducted reverse-cycle aircon and block-out blinds on every window. The kitchen has plenty of bench space for food prep, a double sink, dishwasher, 4-burner gas stove, under-bench oven, microwave and a family-sized fridge. There’s a dining area with a table for 8 people, flowing through to the living space offering a 3 seater sofa, 2 large armchairs, a coffee table and a wall-mounted smart TV. Glass sliding doors take you out to a big backyard with a lawn and a surrounding hedge for privacy.
Back inside the house, there’s a second living area that’s carpeted and has its own smart TV, block-out blinds and a couch that converts to a double sofa bed, bringing the total sleeping capacity of the house to 8 people if desired.
There are 3 carpeted bedrooms, all with queen-sized beds, side tables, bedside lamps, block-out blinds and ducted reverse-cycle aircon. The master bedroom comes with a wall-mounted smart TV, a walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and heat lamp. The other bedrooms each have built-in wardrobes offering lots of storage space for longer stays.
The master bathroom has a large shower recess as well as an independent bathtub, with a separate room for the toilet right next door. There’s also a dedicated laundry room with a washing machine and wall-mounted dryer. A door takes you out from the laundry to a paved undercover entertaining space with its own table setting for 8 people and access through to the back garden.
For drivers, there’s a double lock up garage with a door allowing direct passage into the house. There’s also room to store a boat, caravan or trailer securely down the side of the house.
The Neighborhood:
Located 33 kilometres from Adelaide’s CBD (Downtown), Mount Barker is the largest town in the Adelaide Hills and one of the fastest growing areas in the state. The house itself is perfectly positioned, close to Mount Barker’s main street and just 10 minutes’ walk to an IGA supermarket. For nature lovers and bird watchers, the Laratanga Wetlands are 5 minutes away by car, with walking tracks and push-bike tracks also close by. The picturesque town Hahndorf, featuring German inspired architecture, is less than 15 minutes by car, or it’s an easy drive to a choice of wineries. The heritage ‘SteamRanger’ railway is a 7 minute drive from the house, offering services to Victor Harbour via Strathalbyn and the coastal towns of Goolwa and Port Elliot.
Getting Around:
Best suited for guests who drive, the house comes with a double lock up garage and space in the driveway from a couple more vehicles. If you prefer public transport, buses service the area with stops directly out the front of the house

* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is the case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
