This villa is a gem of a property resting as it does on a peaceful area of the massive Koggala Lake about 15 km from the historic town of Galle. It has a private jetty & it’s possible to hire a boat with driver to go on a sunrise or sunset cruise around the lake.
Situated in the small village of Kathaluwa on Lake Koggala, the villa comprises two separate pavilions, one for sleeping and the other for dining, entertaining & relaxing whilst overlooking the long pool. Both pavilions capture the spectacular views across the water to the mystical & uninhabited island of Madol Doova.
The ’sleeping pavilion’ is built over a ground & first floor. The master suite is upstairs with floor to ceiling doors that open fully to reveal beautiful views across the garden and lake and there is also a private terrace....

Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
