Encarnacão Funchal is a spacious and airy apartment, ideal for families and groups of up to four people.
The apartment is located on the sixth floor of a residential building with an area of 92 m2 and has a small balcony and private parking.
It comprises two bedrooms, including a bedroom with a queen-size double bed (1.6 x 2.0 m) and a bedroom with two single beds (0.9 x 2.0 m). It also has a living room with dining table and work desk, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom with shower.
The apartment is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, induction cooktop, oven, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, air conditioning in the living room and in one bedroom, electric heaters, ceiling fans, WI-FI (1 Gbps), smart TV (4K, 50 inches) with international channels and Netflix, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay.
LOCATION
The apartment is in a quiet area near the main centres of attraction, where you can move on foot and explore the city.
It is 5 minutes’ walk from Town Hall Square and 10 to 15 minutes from the Old City Zone (historic centre) and Funchal Marina, where there are several restaurants, cafes and bars. On the ground floor of the building there is a small cafe with bakery and pastry shop where you can buy warm bread. Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, greengrocers, wine cellars, shops, museums, pharmacies and clinics.
The apartment has easy pedestrian access to various centres of attraction of the city of Funchal. The area is well served by public transport, with a stop at 3 minutes’ walk. By car, it has easy access to major roads of Funchal and to the highway.
REMARKS
Parking is suitable for smaller cars (length up to 4 meters). Longer vehicles may be difficult to maneuver when parking.
If windows are open, there is noise from city traffic, mainly during the day. Windows are made with acoustic glass and traffic is low in the neighbourhood at night.
Due to the island’s climate, insects can occur unexpectedly. To avoid attracting insects, it is important to clean up food waste and keep food well packaged.
People who are sensitive to mosquito bites are advised to use insect repellent when traveling around the island.
Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels.
The increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.
CONDITIONS
1. Parties or behaviour that disturb the peace and well-being of neighbours are not allowed, especially between 10 pm and 8 am when neighbourhood noise is prohibited.
2. An online check-in form will be sent to collect essential identification data for check-in, arrival time and means of transport, which must be submitted by guests at least two days before arrival.
3. Self-check-in with flexible arrival time is available through a code to be created and sent on the day of arrival. For face-to-face check-in, it is necessary to schedule the time and the waiting time is 60 minutes, after which a new time can be scheduled according to our availability.
4. Guests may be required to present identification upon arrival and provide missing identification details to comply with legal requirements.
5. Any malfunctions, incidents or faults in the initial cleaning must be reported as soon as they are detected so that they can be checked and addressed in a timely manner during the stay. Issues reported late for the sole purpose of obtaining a refund will not be considered.
6. Guests must inform about allergies, conditions or special needs before or immediately after booking in order to verify compliance and appropriate measures to be taken.
