The Oleandra ( CIR 020070-CIM-00003) Historic Villa in the heart of Volta Mantovana
In Villa L’Oleandra upon Mincio you will experience the ancient harmony and the holiday of the past.
This Residenza dating back to 1600, treated in every detail, with a large swimming pool and garden, was the residence of the Owner’s Family and now turns into a welcoming Villa for our guests.
At L’Oleandra you can live in a peaceful environment while being in the historic center of Volta Montavana with its ancient castle, and a short walk from the river Mincio and the bike path that leads you to Lake Garda and Mantua.
Villa L’Olendra is located about 15 km from Peschiera del Garda, 40 km from Verona, and about 150 km from Milan and Venice.
The morainic hills surrounding the area allow the production of wines of particular value such as Lugana and offer a relaxing landscape.
The Park
You enter the Property from the large ancient and you can park up to 4 cars in the not covered area in front of the Villa.
L’Oleandra is surrounded by a park of about 1000 square meters constantly maintained and protected by tall plants.
In the garden, there is a large swimming pool suitable for swimming or relaxing in the sun.
The Entrance
Entering the villa you are immediately greeted by the typical historical style of the manor villas. The entrance hall leads to the two wings of the villa.
The Villa on your left - First Floor
To your left through the stairs, you arrive at the first area consisting of a living room and a large and complete kitchen overlooking the garden.
This part of the villa is completed by two double bedrooms and a bathroom located in the stairwell.
One double room is complete with air conditioning, the other has no air conditioning.
The decor of these two rooms is embellished with antique wardrobes and lamps that will take you back in time.
The Villa on your right - Ground Flour
To your right of the entrance patio, there are several living rooms or lounges, where you can meet up with the whole family to chat in complete relax or to play board games or watch television.
You will then access the dining room suitable for 12 people and the kitchen where you can prepare your lunches or dinners.
The kitchen maintains the ancient style and is equipped with a gas stove, oven, and all the most complete equipment. The traditional stone fireplace enhances the Italian charm of the kitchen and goes well with modern appliances.
On the ground floor, there is a full bathroom with a shower.
The Villa on your Right - First Floor
Bedroom and Bathrooms
Villa L’Oleandra can accommodate up to twelve people and in this area of the villa, you will find three large double bedrooms and a bedroom with 2 single beds.
A bathroom with a bathtub and shower completes the floor.
After a day spent visiting Mantua or Verona or Lake Garda you return to the comfort of the ancient walls of the villa and you can sleep in the large double room in the center of the house dominated by a large dome frescoed by a painter of 1700.
The Villa is not heated.
Outdoor
In the area near the pool, you can spend relaxing hours on the porch, equipped with a sofa and with a large dining table, where you can all together enjoy a dinner prepared at home by you or even by one of our chefs.

Lake Garda, located in northern Italy, is a holiday destination throughout the year. On the beaches between Peschiera and Desenzano, you can enjoy water sports or relax in the sun
The Mincio River offers natural landscapes that you can enjoy by taking a bike ride along the river, starting your trip a few meters from the Villa, surrounded by biodiversity and history.
From Volta Mantovana you can reach in a short time the villages of the area of the Morainic Hills, the shores of the lakes of Mantua with the Reggia dei Gonzaga, and other towns in the area of the Mincio Park.
Verona is about 45 km and Venice and Milan are about 150km away.
