Location is key and this is what makes this villa extra special, together with the interiors that reflect the colours of the beach and Alentejo plains.
Villa Casanova offers a wonderful, secluded space for reconnection as is inserted in a unique natural environment, in a place that seems far from everything but still close to the beach and historic cities like Lisbon and Évora.
No wonder that super affluent people have chosen this extraordinarily beautiful spot which happens to sit in the middle of a 40-mile stretch of nearly untouched Atlantic Ocean beaches, and at the edge of hundreds of square miles of cork oak fields, vineyards, and rice fields.
Traditionally the houses in this region are made from rammed earth construction methods called taipa (mud walls). It is an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator. Air conditioning is not essential, but fans can be provided if necessary.
Guests will be delighted with the comfortable bedrooms complete with bright bedding, wooden ceilings, and vibrant craftwork that adorn the walls.
Villa Casanova is sorted into two rentable properties; the main house, and it’s annexe, to which a supplement applies (see pricing).
