- Effective November 1, 2025, through May 1, 2026, the lake will be drawn down for repair to the Town Dam. The lake will be down 20 feet in some places, and this will affect fishing and boating. Please keep this in mind when booking
- The cabin is open for business and the area is improving daily. The cabin was not affected by the hurricane and is as beautiful as it has always been. The cabin was shut down due to the road closure and that now has a timeline of the end of February for opening
- The fireplace is decorative only and is not available for use
- This 2-story cabin requires stairs for access
- Your safety matters. This property features a dual light/camera system, installed to provide visibility for guests arriving after dark. The camera does not look into any interior spaces. The camera actively records video when motion is detected by the device (including devices linked to the camera such as the alarm system’s motion detector)
- The cabin is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The service on your phone can be spotty sometimes especially at the entrance to the gate into our subdivision. Please print off a copy of the pre-stay sheet or screenshot the info to your phone that has the gate code, address, and code to the front door. Once you connect to the WiFi at the house you will have better coverage
