Please note that our cabin does have a steep driveway, so we recommend using a front-wheel or four-wheel-drive vehicle. Rural Environment Notice Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring. These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience! PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Property Manager proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee. The large screened-in porch allows for bird and deer watching or just relaxing. You will find this home completes its romantic setting with a backyard patio, a BBQ grill, and a picnic table. The original cabin, built in 1949, sits on four acres of wooded hillside. We added an 1859 cabin to the original to create a delightful and secluded one-bedroom, one-bath retreat. This cabin accommodates up to four guests with one queen-sized bed and an inflatable queen mattress. Your pet is also welcome here. Along with the queen bed, an air mattress is also provided.
