Our new 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath 2,100 square foot single level home (Lucky Star Lodge) is located across highway 550 from Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive) and was featured in the 2022 Durango Parade of Homes.
Enjoy the convenience of being near Purgatory Ski Resort (with access to a free on-demand shuttle), yet have the privacy and additional space of a home with a garage (one space is available in the garage with space for two additional vehicles in the driveway). The residence is adjacent to over a million acres of national forest land and the Purgatory Flats Trailhead (one of the finest hiking trails in the area) and backs up to Twilight Lake which offers paddle board and canoe rentals in summer/fall along with a walking trail around the lake.
The residence has been outfitted to be the ultimate vacation with a great outdoor space featuring a private hot tub, gas fire pit and outdoor dining table. The home features super fast Starlink WIFI with average internet speeds over100mbs which makes watch your favorite streaming services or working on multiple devices no problem (we finally cut the cable). Inside, the amenities are plentiful including an Arcade Game, Washer/Dryer, fully stocked kitchen, high end furnishing and linens, TVs in every bedroom and there is also a Tesla Charger in the garage. And while not needed very often, the home does have central AC for those occasional warm summer days.
