Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- KEAUHOU AKAHI COMPLEX RULES
- To ensure a pleasant living atmosphere, common courtesy is necessary; to ensure fairness to all, rules must be enforced. The Keauhou Akahi House Rules were established to promote harmonious living, to protect all guests, owners and residents from annoyance and nuisance caused by improper use of the Keauhou Akahi Condominium, and to protect the value, reputation and desirability of the Community. The cooperation of all guests, owners and residents is expected.
- The following are selected House Rules most pertinent to our short-term guests. Please see the full House Rules for more details. Also, please read and abide by the pool rules.
- Avoid excessive noise of any kind, at any time. Be considerate of other residents.
- Loud conversations must be avoided along the walkways and from lanais. Shouting from lanais or parking areas is prohibited. Horn honking is also prohibited.
- Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM.
- No fireworks or use of drones on the property.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Do not hang anything from or drape anything over lanai railings, including towels, swimsuits, etc. Use a folding drying rack if provided by owner in corner of lanai.
- Gas grill cooking on lanai only. No other open flame devices are permitted anywhere. No illegal substances or flammable material.
- Smoking and vaping are limited to the bench area adjacent to the bulletin board near the mailboxes and otherwise prohibited in all other common areas, at the pool, or on any lanai or patio.
- You are free to park in any space not designated as reserved. Please display your temporary parking permit on the driver side dashboard. Back-in only in spots along Alii Drive side of lot.
- Use footwear when moving about the property.
- Report plumbing problems, injuries or property damage immediately.
- Skateboarding, roller blades, bicycling and playing of any sort are prohibited in all parking lot areas. Bicycles must be walked while on the premises
- KEAUHOU AKAHI POOL RULES:
- Please also abide by the house rules that are provided for guests in short form on a separate page.
- Pool hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. ONLY.
- Pool keys are furnished by the owner or rental agent.
- Appropriate swimwear is required—no street clothes in pool.
- Showering before entering the pool is required. Tanning oils and lotions must be removed before entering the pool.
- You may wish to confine long hair with a swim cap.
- For safety reasons, all children under the age of twelve (12) must be supervised by an adult (age 18 or over).
- No running, jumping, diving, playing ball or throwing of objects, shouting, or screaming are permitted anywhere in the pool area.
- No mats, boards, floats, balls or other equipment are to be used in the pool except for swimming aids fastened to the body of the user.
- No glass containers or any other breakable objects are permitted in the pool area.
- The use of devices capable of sound production are not allowed unless they are used with earphones.
- No food or beverage are permitted in the pool.
- Oral or other discharges in the pool and pool area strictly prohibited.
- Do not leave trash in the pool area—check before leaving.
- Persons having diseases of the skin, sore or inflamed eyes, discharge from the ears or any communicable diseases are excluded from the pool.
- Alcoholic beverages are allowed in MODERATION while lounging at the poolside. This is a privilege and is not to be abused.
- Violation of these pool rules can result in loss of privileges. Your cooperation is expected and appreciated.
