Walk to the top of the hill to enter the Parthenon and the spots where Democracy was born, Socrates, Plato and the great philosophers lived and worked in. All the important sight are around the corner. The Acropolis metro station is a 2-min walk. There are taxis around 24/7. If you want to hit Athens’ beaches you can walk for 5’ to the tram stop.
