SOUTH LAKE TAHOE RESTRICTIONS
- Area rangers strictly enforce all Vacation Rental ordinances (parking, noise violations, camping, etc). If a citation is received, the guest will be responsible for paying both guest and owner citations, up to $2,000
- To avoid citations, follow all community rules as outlined in the Welcome Book and observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM
- Please note: you must only park in designated spaces (garage, paved driveway, carport, or parking lot). Vehicles are not allowed to park on the street
- Camping on the property is not allowed
- California’s SB 1383 (Trash Collection):
- South Lake Tahoe requires customers to separate their recycling from the rest of their trash. Additional literature/signage will be at the property, and the blue recycling and green yard waste bins will have printed information on them to help
- As a general rule, please follow these guidelines and requirements throughout your stay. All jars, jugs, bottles, cans, etc., must be rinsed and placed (loose) inside the BLUE recycling bin at the property. All cardboard must be broken down before being placed inside the BLUE recycling bin on the property
- All other trash should be bagged up as usual and placed inside the bear box(es) at the property. Please ensure all bear boxes are locked and secured after adding trash to avoid bear break-ins.
- Guests who do not adhere to these policies and requirements may be subject to additional fines, as South Tahoe Refuse will cite/fine homeowners found to be out of compliance. Thank you in advance for your assistance and cooperation. We greatly appreciate it!
