-- POLICIES --
- No smoking
- Pet friendly w/ $60 fee (+ fees & taxes, dogs only)
- No events, parties, or large gatherings
- Additional fees and taxes may apply
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in
- NOTE: Please respect quiet hours from 9:00 PM 8:00 AM
- NOTE: Firearms brought onto property MUST be securely and properly stored
- NOTE: The property requires stairs to access
- NOTE: The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train tracks are located about 250 feet behind the house. The Scenic Railway is the ONLY train that runs on the tracks, and it does not run past the house every day. It is a small sightseeing train so it is not very noisy. If the train is running it occurs once a day (passing twice total, back and forth, usually around 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM). Very rarely, there are two trains passing the house at once. Many guests have commented they enjoy watching it pass and waving to the passengers riding in the open-air cars. There is no fence around the property or the tracks, so please keep in mind this could pose a safety concern to some families with small children. There is a community area about a 3-minute walk from the house that guests are welcome to use. Here, you can access the river just like you can from the house; however, this also requires walking over the train tracks
- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras: 1 camera is located on the back of the home facing the backyard area, and 1 camera is on the front of the home facing the front driveway. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion
