Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House Rules

  • QUIET HOURS:
  • Quiet hours shall be from 9:00pm to 8:00am, during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.
  • PARKING:
  • Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not block driveways, sidewalks or mailboxes.
  • USE OF PROPERTY:
  • The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes.
  • Ke Kailani guests have access to two exclusive amenities centers, The Grotto and Hana Pono Park, with swimming pools, whirlpool spas, fitness centers, pavilion and gathering areas with BBQ grills. Access to Mauna Lani Resort amenities such as golf and tennis is available to you through fees paid directly to the resort onsite. Ke Kailani rental guests do not have access to hotel pools, cabanas or beach loungers. Resort beaches and restaurants are all open to the public. The Shops at Mauna Lani, a nearby resort shopping mall within walking distance, offers a sizable market, with deli, sushi, gourmet meats and cheeses and bakery, along with weekly free entertainment, art galleries, boutiques, gift shops, a magic show, and a number of fine restaurants.
  • RENTAL HOME RULES House Rules
  • This is a non-smoking home.
  • No smoking allowed in interior or exterior areas.
  • Quiet Hours are 8pm-8am. Please keep all noise to a minimum between these hours so that neighbors are not disturbed.
  • Children under 16 years of age must at all times be under the immediate and direct supervision of their parents, a brother or sister over 18 or another responsible adult in all common areas (swimming pools, fitness center, Gathering Hale, etc). Wrap up all food in airtight containers before storing to reduce insects and other creatures.
  • Adherence to maximum occupancy of 6 people is strictly enforced.
  • No burning candles without proper protective containers.
  • No guests of guests.
  • No events without advance consent of homeowner and Elite Vacation Rentals powered by Gather. In the case of an event, the event booking contract must be adhered to and event rate payment is required.
  • No moving furniture. No eating in the living rooms or outside of designated dining areas with tables and chairs.
  • No pots and pans in the dishwasher. Please remove shoes before entering the home.
  • No hanging of towels or swimsuits on balcony.
  • Park in driveway, garage and designated parking areas at amenity centers ONLY. No parking on street.
  • Speed limit is 15 MPH within Ke Kailani neighborhood.
  • The Grotto: walking and golf cart traffic ONLY. No rental cars or private vehicles are allowed inside
  • Grotto gate. Parking for rental and private vehicles is provided outside Grotto gates. Any other vehicle besides golf carts found inside Grotto gates are subject to up to $500 fine.
  • No skateboards, roller skates or roller blades of any kind.
  • All rubbish must be bagged and disposed of in the outside trash coral by the garage
  • PRIVATE POOL & HOT TUB RULES - NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY
  • No running, pushing playmates, no jumping on others, no diving or jumping in shallow water or “dunking”.
  • Do not use the hot tub if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs as your judgment will be impaired and you could become unconscious and drown. - Do not permit playful screaming for help (false alarms) which might mask a real emergency.
  • All children under age 16 shall be supervised by an adult at all times
  • Any person having any skin disease, open sore, inflamed eyes or communicable disease shall not use the pool or hot tub.
  • Infants and toddlers not potty trained are required to wear swim diapers in pool.
  • GOLF CART RULES
  • Golf carts are permitted on all the roads within the resort - Driver must be 15+ years or accompanied by an adult
  • Carts should be driven on the shoulders of the roads within the white line wherever possible
  • All drivers must observe the 25 mph speed limit
  • No horseplay A mandatory mid-stay cleaning fee will be applied to any stays over 14 days in the amount of half the cost of the departure cleaning service
