The Location- This apartment is well-positioned in a child-friendly cul-de-sac adjacent to an extensive bushland reserve providing leafy views to the north and with a natural soundtrack of captivating birdsong and, tide dependent, gentle waves washing into shore. Perfectly situated with direct walking access to Shoal Bay Beach (100m) and Little Beach (300m), arguably two of the best beaches that Port Stephens has to offer. You are also within walking distance of the Little Beach Lighthouse only 800m from the apartment offering panoramic bay views whilst you enjoy afternoon tea at the tearooms. Little Beach offers safe swimming, shaded grassed areas, BBQ’s, picnic tables and a playground. Little Beach Boathouse is renowned for its great seafood and serves lunch and dinner daily (closed on Mondays). There is also a cafe and a bar where you can enjoy a drink with friends whilst watching the sunset. For something more informal, try the Wests Club which is only 800m from the apartment. Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay area are a short 2km drive. There you will find interesting and enjoyable retail establishments including a Sunday market, cafes, restaurants, entertainment and diverse and fun land and water-based activities.
The Unit- This appealing second floor apartment, recently refurnished and styled, has a coastal theme and it is ready to enjoy. The apartments northerly aspect with two opposing balconies ensure the lounge and dining areas are filled with natural light and catch the cross-breezes which can provide natural and ‘eco-friendly’ air-cooling in summer. There is air-conditioning for the really hot days. Filtered water views to both beaches are seen from the north balcony giving an island feel. Entering the apartment, you are welcomed into an open plan living area consisting of dining area and a comfortable lounge area with a 58cm smart TV, a sound bar (with Bluetooth connectivity) and unlimited Wi-Fi. There is an attractive well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar with stools and equipped with a microwave oven, full-sized fridge freezer, oven and stove top, coffee machine and dishwasher. The two balconies offer outdoor furnishings and a gas (Weber style) BBQ for you to dine al fresco whilst enjoying the views over the bushland and bays. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning to provide heating in the cooler months.
The apartment offers two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds and an extra TV in the wardrobe for game console use. Both bedrooms are carpeted and fitted with stylish plantation shutters and ceiling fans. The stunning bathroom features a free-standing bathtub and an open shower with the toilet in a separate room. Other features include an internal laundry concealed in the bathroom behind sliding glass doors, a single lock up garage plus an off-street parking space perfect for second car or boat. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
