The Location – Stay across the road from one of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast of Australia, Shoal Bay. The gentle aquamarine waters, white sands and grassed area make it a perfect family friendly beach for picnics and relaxing. The public jetty and boat ramp are available to use all year round. Just behind the property, guests can access the many hiking/bush walking trails, or head over the Tomaree Head Summit Walk.
Close by are grocery stores, coffee shops, fine dining and the iconic, Shoal Bay Country Club, a gathering place for all ages and occasions offering a range of Port Stephens’ best dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, live entertainment and unparalleled views of Shoal Bay Beach. Speaking of eateries, other nearby ones include Zenith Café, Restaurant and Bar, Gianni’s, Mod Thai, and La Dolce Vita, all around a 5 minutes’ walk away. Entry to Seahaven is simply off Shoal Bay Road into Shoal Bay Avenue.
The Duplex – This ground floor duplex across the road from Shoal Bay Beach includes a lovely garden at front of property and outdoor furniture for those cocktail-filled afternoons. The beautifully renovated, four-bedroom, three-bathroom home exhibits the very best of inclusions, stylishly furnished to mimic the elegant beach theme across the road.
Timber floorboards and neutral toned lounges with a chaise are well presented in the living room. Free Wi-Fi is available along with 3 flat-screen Smart TVs to connect your favourite streaming service accounts such as Netflix, Stan or YouTube, books, board games and a split air-conditioning system. A single step up in this open plan area leads you to the large wooden dining table and chairs, and the magnificent state of the art kitchen. It includes a breakfast bar with stools, full fridge/freezer combination, oven, stove, microwave, cooktop, Aldi coffee pod machine (bring your favourite pods), kettle, dishwasher, toaster, sandwich presser, breakfast bar, pantry, as well as basic dishes and utensils, and crockery, cutlery and glassware. The glass sliding doors allow the flow of the sea breeze to encapsulate throughout the home, and open out onto the perfectly clipped grassy backyard. Fenced with visible ocean views, a gas BBQ, outdoor furniture and an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from across the road, this yard is a stunning way to relax and enjoy your holiday in the bay.
The modernised beach aesthetic doesn’t stop at the views, with all four bedrooms decorated with white washed sea spray in mind. Every room has ceiling fans, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobes, mirrors, and both the queen bedrooms have Smart TVs. The master bedroom is fitted with a queen and an ensuite. The second and third bedrooms have a double bed each, and the fourth bedroom has a queen. The bathrooms include the one ensuite, and the two larger bathrooms, both with glass showers, and toilets, and one with a full bath. The internal laundry includes a Fisher and Paykel washer and dryer, as well as a clothesline, iron and board.
Easy access to the property is via Shoal Bay Road by turning right into Shoal Bay Avenue. While the garage is currently not in use, there are still parking spaces available. One space is in front of the left-hand garage, underneath the carport. The other two can be accessed after turning left into Shoal Bay Ave, just before the carport, on the gravel. There is also street parking if you’re bringing more than three cars.
Outdoor furniture should be stored inside premises when not in use.
Linens, towels and bed makes are provided.
Smoke alarms are at the property.
