The Location - This duplex is set on the northern end of Wanda headland. A 130m walk brings you to Wanda Beach, a picturesque spot with calm waters for swimming (tidal). You can walk around the Wanda Headland along a gravel pathway offering seats to stop and soak up the magnificent views .Also close to hand (260m) is the Wanda Beach Shops, which has a selection of restaurants, takeaways, coffee shop, convenience store, butcher, bakery, chemist, post office and bottle shop. For more choice, visit the main Salamander Shopping Centre (4.5km away). If you are a keen golfer then the Horizons Golf Course is only 3km away. The main township of Nelson Bay is 8.5km away. The Rick Stein Restaurant at the Bannisters Resort is just over one kilometre away with multiple dining options and opposite Bannisters is the Soldiers Point Bowling Club which offers affordable meals.
The Duplex - This stylish ground floor duplex has been designed to invite. A naturally flowing layout with an open plan living area with floating floor boards, WiFi and air conditioning systems in all the rooms. The lounge area at the front of the duplex offers tasteful modern furnishings, large flat screen TV and DVD player. A dining table and eight chairs are positioned next to the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, full fridge/freezer, oven/stove top and for your convenience a pre rinse spray arm at the sink. The kitchen offers plenty of bench space to prepare meals and a breakfast bar with four bar chairs.
Continuing through the duplex are two generous sized bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a tri bunk (double on the bottom and single on the top) and a fold out bed. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and smart TV’s. The duplex also consists of an internal laundry with a top loader washing machine and a dryer, and the contemporary bathroom offers a shower, vanity/mirrored cupboard and toilet. Heading to the back of the duplex is a patio area with table and chairs, market umbrella and a gas BBQ.
The driveway up to the duplex is elevated with 30 minute parking for loading and unloading. Parking is on street.
Please note: we also manage the duplex above, this makes for a perfect holiday getaway for two families and still have your own space and privacy. Driveway parking is permitted if booking the two duplex’s.
