This holiday home is only 300m to the idyllic Shoal Bay Beach and 900m to picturesque Little Beach, both beautiful sandy beaches great for swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding (which are available for hire). There is a fantastic restaurant over the water ’The Boathouse’ at Little Beach, quaint tearooms with panoramic water views at the Nelson Bay Lighthouse, and an array of cafes, restaurants and shops along the waterfront of Shoal Bay. Little Beach offers a shaded grassed area with tables, BBQ’s, playground, take away/general store and public amenities, and just 500m further along the coast is Fly Point, ideal for snorkelling and diving. Nelson Bay is less than 2km away and offers boutique shopping, restaurants, cafes and a selection of aquatic activities including dolphin watch cruises at the bustling d’Albora Marina.
This semi detached 2-storey house is situated on a corner block with a flat double driveway. On entering the house you are greeted to an air-conditioned, tiled, open plan living area with a cane lounge suite, flat screen TV, Wifi, a dining area, and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and breakfast bar with bar stools. This area flows out to a private, undercover courtyard with outdoor furnishings and a gas BBQ. You have access straight to the beach through the back gate, and a handy outdoor shower to wash the sand off when you return. Also on the ground level is a queen bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet, making this space perfect for an elderly or disabled guest who can’t use the stairs. There is also an internal laundry with a washer and dryer.
The upper level has ducted air-conditioning and is carpeted throughout. This level offers another living area with access out to a balcony and 2 other bedrooms, plus a 3-way bathroom with a double vanity, bath, shower and toilet. The driveway provides parking for 2 cars and a boat if required.
