When launching your boat, there is a 2 lane, all tide boat ramp at the rear of Salamander Shores Hotel or a 4 lane, all tide boat ramp at Soldiers Point (approx 4km away). Whilst on holidays there is so much to do including: parasailing, kayaking, fishing, quad bike riding, camel rides, horse trail rides, scenic helicopter rides, scuba diving and of course whale and dolphin watching which has made Port Stephens a well-known destination for tourists.
