La Candelaria is Bogota’s heart, full of colonial landmarks and narrow streets where you can find local art, handcrafts, unique bars, and restaurants.
La Candelaria is home to Bolivar Square, Gold Museum, Museo Botero, Museo de Bogotá, Teatro Colón, Monserrate, Planetario de Bogotá, Chorro de Quevedo and more places to sightsee. Luckily, we are at a short walking distance from these places.
It is also one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in town; its buildings have witnessed the history and changes of the city. Bike tours are a must and you will be able to admire our street art. La Candelaria is considered an outdoor museum and you can’t miss it!
