Casa Ponderosa is a bright, single-level home in the peaceful Eldorado community, a short drive from the galleries, restaurants, and history of downtown Santa Fe. Set on the high-desert plain with wide-open skies and distant mountains on the horizon, it pairs warm Southwestern style with modern comfort: vaulted beamed ceilings, regional textiles, and an easy indoor-outdoor flow built for relaxing and gathering. It flows directly into the dining area and the chef’s kitchen, making it simple to cook, share meals, and spend time together. The primary en suite is a spa-like retreat with a deep soaking tub and a walk-in shower, a second en suite serves Bedroom 2, and a third full bath down the hall serves the remaining bedrooms and bunk room. Guests will have full, private access to the entire single-level home and its outdoor spaces, including the patio and private hot tub. Self check-in is available via a keypad smart lock for easy, flexible arrival. Parking is available for up to four vehicles, with two spots in the oversized garage and two in the driveway. An EV charger is available on site. A vehicle is recommended to reach the home and to explore Santa Fe and the surrounding high desert. The property is an easy drive from downtown Santa Fe, and on-site parking and an EV charger are available. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Guests must be at least 21 years old to book, and only registered guests are permitted. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property. Pets are welcome (up to two dogs). Please bring waste bags and clean up after your pets; a fee applies if pet waste is left behind. When using the hot tub, please use the indoor restrooms, as neighbors can see the patio area. The home has central air-conditioning and radiant floor heating with individual room controls. The living room has a gas fireplace; operating instructions are in the guest handbook. Please note there are exterior security cameras at the property (one facing the street in front and one in back); there are no cameras inside the home. An EV charger is available for guest use.
