About Castle Rock: This home offers one of the most spectacular views in the entire Eagles Nest Community, with a sweeping 180-degree panorama of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s conveniently located 1 mile from the main entrance and a short distance to Great Camp (where concerts occur) and the new restaurant, Epic Chophouse.
Sleeping Accommodations: Castle Rock has four bedrooms in the home, and one additional, private studio apartment (above the garage) and two primary suites. Total sleeping capacity of 12 guests.

Castle Rock is a distinctive, custom built home located in the Lodges at Eagles Nest, one of the most desirable communities in the North Carolina Mountains. This home is the perfect mountain setting for large family gatherings, birthday celebrations, holiday entertaining or groups of any kind. Castle Rock is one you will be returning to for all seasons!
Enter the recently gorgeously refurnished great room to be greeted with an open floor plan between the living room, dining area and kitchen for all friends and family to gather. Beautiful hard wood floors, cathedral open-beam ceilings and huge windows that allow in an incredible amount of natural light creating a relaxed, rustic elegance that your group is sure to enjoy.
The living room boasts a massive, stacked stone wood-burning fireplace with a 85” flat screen TV above it, a wet bar complete with an ice maker and wine cooler and cozy furniture to relax in. The extra-large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals together and features granite counter tops, and all Thermador appliances such as a 5-burner gas range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and oven. There is a large dining table with enough room for 8 people plus 4 bar stools.
Castle Rock offers over 2,500 sq. feet of decking on both the upper and lower levels of the home offering westward facing, 180-degree views so you can watch the sunset every night! On the upper deck, you will find the perfect outdoor entertainment spot featuring a brand new, Weber gas grill, cooking area and small fridge with seating to accommodate up to 14 people to enjoy the stunning views and landscape.
The primary bedroom, located on the main level, features a king size bed, gas fireplace with a flat screen TV above, and a large bathroom with his and her sinks, a tiled shower with glass doors, and a soaking tub. Both the primary and downstairs ensuite bathrooms are equipped with steam showers, spa-inspired retreats designed to elevate your sense of tranquility and relaxation after hiking, skiing or simply to rejuvenate after exploring the local area.
Tucked away above the garage and through the laundry room, the private upstairs studio apartment offers a luxurious escape of its own. This elegant retreat features a new, plush king bed, a cozy gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, full bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, and a well-appointed kitchenette with its own private balcony to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while enjoying your morning coffee or tea. Whether used for guests or as a quiet place of escape for solitude, this serene hideaway offers the perfect blend of charm and peace.
On the lower level, guests will find three beautifully appointed bedrooms -- two with sumptuous king beds and a stylish bunk room featuring a Queen full bed and 2 twins -- each with its own private en-suite bathroom for ultimate comfort and convenience. This level boats a sophisticated secondary living area, complete with a 65" flat-screen TV, a sleek gas fireplace and a designer wet bar, perfect for unwinding with a drink and fun movie nights with the family in style. For added convenience, it’s also set up with a Keurig coffee station, ensuring your brew of choice is never far from reach.

Additional Notes:
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- There is enough parking for 6 vehicles.

- The Owners’ dog has stayed in this home, but it is not pet friendly for new reservations. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
