Elk Knob Escape is a brand new charming two (2) bedroom, two (2) bathroom cabin located just fifteen (15) minutes from downtown Boone. Enjoy the beautiful long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while grilling on the gas grill or soaking in the hot tub at this wonderful retreat.
Just a few minutes away is Elk Knob State Park, featuring one of the park system’s finest trails to spectacular views at the 5,520 feet summit. Tweetsie Railroad, ski slopes, Grandfather Mountain, High Gravity Adventures, river rafting, and many other attractions are available to visit during your stay.

Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules
- Kids welcome. Smoking not allowed.
