Surfwood Getaway
Located in a very quiet neighborhood on the edge of Russian Gulch State Park, this beautiful, four-bedroom Mendocino house is waiting to provide your family and friends with lots of happy vacation memories, so pack your beach towels and get ready for a fun-filled getaway! Inside, the great room is open and spacious, with high, vaulted ceilings and skylights, wood accents, a wood-burning fireplace, and lots of attractive furniture and decor. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating surrounding a flatscreen TV, and you’ll have fantastic tree views from every window. Adjacent to the living room, the reading nook includes a small bar area for assembling your favorite drinks. The full kitchen has all the small and major appliances and counter space the group chef could ask for, and you’ll have plenty of counter space to work on as well. Serve up to six people at the handsome dining table while the kids chatter away from the two breakfast bar stools then let the dishwasher knock out all the dirty dishes while you adjourn outside with friends. Tuck into four well-appointed beds after a fun-filled day. (Please note the fourth bedroom is detached from the home and located off the garage.)
Outside, you’ll find a large wrap-around deck furnished with a private gas grill and lots of seating. The kids will love romping around the enclosed yard with the family dog, and the private hot tub is great for soaking your weary muscles after a hot-weather hike. Gather everyone around the firepit to enjoy some toasted s’mores and stargazing, then wrap up your evening with a good Netflix movie with the gang. Remote workers and students will have a desk to work from and the home’s free WiFi will make it easy to do a bit of online research for those last-minute projects. Reward your hard work with a fun trip to Agate Beach, just a mile away, then come back to spread out some board games for a fun game night with the kids. For even more outdoor activities, you’ll find hiking, picnicking, surfing, kayaking, and fishing nearby, plus plenty of shopping and dining as well.
