When the owners of The Red Fern Cottage purchase land back in the 70’s, one thing they loved to do was walk around the gorgeous country side and take in the beauty of the oak, pine, and various fauna that surrounds it. One thing they noticed in abundance was red fern! When this land was purchased, on it was a really old uninhabitable log cabin. It was demolished and this sweet cottage was built in its place. The Red Fern Cottage was named for those long quiet walks in the neighborhood. The cottage is cozy, quiet, and comfortable. We know you will enjoy your time sitting on the front porch taking in the views, eating on the table under the giant oak trees, or playing horseshoes on a warm day. Things To Know
Payment and Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules
- Rental conditions and contract will be sent over after booking. Signature will be required as acknowledgment and acceptance. If terms are not agreeable, free cancellation is allowed within the platforms allowance period.
