North Cottage is a superb two-bedroom holiday home situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Alderton from where you can explore the best of the Suffolk countryside and coastline.

The village itself is a five-minute drive from Bawdsey, an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Deben Peninsula with a small, sandy beach with access across the mouth of the River Deben to Felixstowe Ferry via the foot ferry. There is a fantastic, local pub called The Swan just a minute’s walk from the property which is well worth a visit one evening to enjoy a drink or meal.

Shingle Street is a 10-minute drive and the hamlet of Ramsholt, with its famous pub, The Ramsholt Arms that overlooks the river, is only five minutes away.
