Places to Get Around The Olympic Spirit apartment is 2,5 km away from the Acropolis and Plaka district where you can visit the Acropolis Museum, the Theater of Dionysos, the Roman Agora and Monastiraki Open Flea Market. The Panathinaic Stadium is close to Mets neighbourhood, and it is really worth to make a visit to The temple of Olympian Zeus and a walk to the National Garden. Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural centre is 3,5 km away and it offers a public arts centre with a park and the National Opera House of Athens so it can satisfy the taste of visitors of all ages and of multiple cultural quests. There is an easy access to Flisvos Marina and the seaside of Athens, Alimos and Glyfada by tram. The temple of Poseidon in Sounio is a day trip that is highly recommended, especially in summer.
