The 1849 Condominiums sit high atop a 7,780’ slope and so close to Canyon Lodge that you can ski to it (in less than one minute)! It’s also near the Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center. This vacation home is ideally situated for ski and snowboard fans in the winter, but centrally located to all things fun in Mammoth, all the time. A community bus stop is adjacent to the building and parking is on-site and free. It’s less than two miles to shopping and fine dining, and provides easy access to dozens of bicycle routes, trailheads, and lakes.

The 1849 complex features an outdoor pool and two hot tubs. The friendly staff at the 24-hour front desk ensure hot chocolate and tea are available (a great comfort after a cold day on the slopes).

Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House Rules

  • 1. No smoking in the unit or on the property
  • 2. No pets allowed unless otherwise advertised
  • 3. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am
  • 4. Trash must be secured in bear proof trash bins
  • 5. Only park in designated spots
  • 6. No charcoal grills allowed
  • 7. Parking passes, key cards and garage clickers must be left in the property upon your departure
