Bere Cottage is a beautiful and cosy oak-beamed cottage with 400 years of history. Nestled in the picturesque English village of Westbere and just 50m from one of the oldest pubs in the country with royal connections it offers the perfect bolt-hole or base from which to explore East Kent via car or bus. Whether you are staying in with the open fire or exploring the countryside there is something at Bere Cottage for all breaks.
The Space:
Bere Cottage is a 2 bed home. On the ground floor the front door leads to the kitchen and then to a small hallway. From the hallway you can pass to the bathroom or the living room with open fireplace.
From the living room stairs in the corner lead to the first floor. Here you will find the master bedroom and spiral stairs to the second floor where the twin bedroom is located.

Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
