In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 7, the maximum allowed occupancy is 16, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 6.
This Kiawah Island vacation rental, located in Vanderhorst Plantation, is an updated home with plenty of room for the whole family. It features seven bedrooms, a private pool, and is a 15-minute bike ride to the beach. This home now offers a Tesla Charger in the garage for guest use.
Enter the main living area and immediately notice the details- coffered ceiling, archways, brick accent wall, built-in shelving, and a view of the pool area through glass double doors and large windows. Relax on the comfortable sofa and two chairs while visiting with friends and family or while watching TV on the large flat-screen TV. The updated kitchen has white and blue cabinets, a large center island with seating for 5, a patterned backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and is equipped with everything needed to make a meal. Adjacent to the kitchen is the round dining table that seats 6. There is also a sunroom with a sofa and two chairs.
The large, first-floor primary suite features a king bed, access to the pool deck, seating for 2, and access to a private bathroom with his and her sinks, walk-in shower with bench, and soaking tub. The second floor features four bedrooms, all with private bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers. Two of the bedrooms have king-sized beds and access to a shared balcony. There is also a queen bedroom and another king bedroom. On the third floor, the remaining two bedrooms both feature two full-sized beds each and share a bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. One bedroom has direct access to the bathroom, but it can also be accessed from the hallway.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.
The back deck features lounge seating, a pool that is roughly 20 ft long, with a depth of 6 ft. Guests can enjoy a friendly game of ping pong in the garage.
The home also features an elevator that is available upon request. For safety, the elevator is kept locked for guests who do not require its service.
The pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for an additional fee of $75 per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available. Contact us directly to add pool heating to your reservation.
