The centrally located Dandolo Terrace is a top-floor apartment found only a few meters from the San Tomà Vaporetto Stop and the famous Frari Church in the San Polo District.
Bright and classy, it is perfect for a romantic couple: the luxurious interiors and the stunning panoramic terrace are truly unique. Enjoy the roof-top view of the historic centre of Venice in total privacy.
It is a fourth floor of about 60 square meters, part of a perfectly restored historic building found few steps from the San Tomà Vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal, a spot adored by Venetians for its strategic position and quietness: in fact, it takes few minutes’ walk to reach all the most important city landmarks. Just across the Grand Canal there is the San Marco District, while in the surroundings there are plenty of specialty shops and supermarkets, beside excellent restaurants and bars. The area is not too crowded but is very active both culturally and socially.
The lay out of the Dandolo is very rational: from the entrance room you can access the bedroom with a queen size bed and a wardrobe, the luxurious bathroom with large shower cabin, and the comfortable living room with a single sofa-bed and great panoramic view.
Walking through the living room you can access the spacious kitchen, which opens on the stunning terrace. You can use the terrace as a sundeck during the day or as an open-air dining room: in summer you can shelter it from the sun with an easy-to-use awning, while if you prefer to sunbathe there are two comfortable deckchairs.
A special mention goes to the bathroom’s marbles: it has been crafted with the essence of Carrara, Calacatta Macchia Oro, a unique and precious material with golden veins used since the Renaissance also for Michelangelo’s projects.
The caring landlady decorated her apartment with an interesting collection of artistic Murano Glasses, important contemporary art paintings and much sought-after furniture. The Dandolo is offered to our privileged guests in spotless conditions, equipped with every sort of comfort, including Wi-Fi, air-conditioning system (one unit in the living room only, enough to cool down the bedroom if you leave the door open), washing machine, dishwasher, oven, a set of professional cooking stoves, large fridge and freezer, etc.
We highly recommend the Dandolo to demanding travellers who set privacy, comfort and style on top of their priorities. The view, the brightness and the quietness of this boutique apartment will reward you once reached the fourth floor.

About the area
Venice, Italy, is a city that enchants its visitors with its distinctive blend of history, artistry, and romance. The city is uniquely constructed on over 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Instead of roads and cars, Venice is characterized by its waterways and gondolas, offering a truly unique urban experience.
St. Mark's Square stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It is home to St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. The basilica boasts stunning Byzantine mosaics while the palace showcases Gothic architecture and grand rooms adorned with art - both are symbols of Venice's rich historical heritage.
The Grand Canal is another must-visit attraction in Venice. A gondola ride along this major waterway provides breathtaking views of beautiful palaces and historic buildings lining its banks. For those passionate about art, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection offers an impressive collection of modern art from renowned artists like Picasso and Pollock.
Venice takes pride in its glassmaking industry located on the island of Murano where visitors can witness artisans crafting intricate glass pieces using age-old techniques.
The city also hosts several globally recognized events such as the Venice Biennale art exhibition and the Venice Film Festival which draw artists and celebrities worldwide.
For gastronomes, Venetian cuisine offers fresh seafood from the lagoon and traditional dishes like risotto nero (black risotto) made with cuttlefish ink.
In summary, Venice presents an irresistible mix of history, culture, artistic talent, gastronomy, and romance that makes it an ideal destination for any traveler.
