Villa Melanie is a stunning and recently refurbished stone cottage, situated midway between the countryside villages of Prazeres and Faja da Ovelha. As its name suggests, the villa enjoys a serene location overlooking the beautiful Madeiran countryside with views out to the ocean. Designed in order to bring the outside into the inside, there are plentiful floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the open plan living area that extends to the front terrace and alfresco eating area, winding around to the side and the built-in barbecue too. There is a high-tech kitchen with all the usual modern conveniences that you’d expect but also a built-in wine chiller and Nespresso coffee machine. The villa offers smart TV with a Netflix account for guests’ use in the lounge, a games room with table football and PlayStation 4, as well as air-conditioning in all the bedrooms.
