Spacious 1000 square meters (10,500 square ft) penthouse, situated in the prime area of Copacabana, steps to the legendary beach. This penthouse is a nice way to spend your stay in South America’s most exciting city, Rio de Janeiro. The highlight of the property is the good-sized terrace, as it features not only your own private dipping pool but a waterfall as well. Also, behind the waterfall, you have a sauna, from where you can look out its window to see through the waterfall and out to the Atlantic Ocean. The terrace wraps around from the pool and waterfall area, over to the main master bedroom as well - which you can walk out from - and features a barbecue and many comfortable lounge chairs, for you to sit back and relax, day or night. There is ample dining space as well, so you’re able to enjoy chef-cooked meals outside, under the stars of Rio, with unobstructed views to the beach and ocean. This top-floor master suite has floor-to-ceiling windows on 2 of the walls, which allows you to have complete and open ocean views from anywhere in the room, even from your king-sized bed. The bedroom also opens to the large terrace, giving you adequate indoor/outdoor living space. The ensuite bathroom for this master bedroom is uniquely designed as well, as it is finished in black marble, and features a hot tub, and shower from where you have views of Copacabana Beach and Christ Redeemer. The lower floor has 4 tastefully designed bedrooms - all bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms themselves. The corridor and breakfast area is decorated in a pop art fashion, and the dining table seats 20 – a great room to host a dinner party while looking out to the Atlantic. With this rental comes two maids and a coordinator (English, Spanish and Portuguese speaking) who will help you to facilitate your stay in Rio de Janeiro. The furniture, finishings and decoration are well chosen, with the renovation being done in 2005, so if you want to have a comfortable property with the Atlantic Ocean at your doorstep, a private pool and incredible views this property is a great choice. For safety reasons, if the penthouse is rented only by men, a security guard must be present on the premises. There is an additional 150 USD fee per day for this service 24 hours confirmation. As one of our more unique homes, we require 24 hours to verify the details of your booking and ensure that this home is the right match for you and your guests. Once you have submitted your booking, a representative will contact you immediately, answer any relevant questions and personally ensure that your booking runs smoothly. The representative will be able to provide a confirmation within 24 hours, if not sooner. HOUSE RULES  To finalize your booking, we kindly request a copy of the main guest’s ID.  Before confirming your booking, we will inquire about the group composition to ensure the best service, including the number of adults, children, couples, and genders.  We require a photo ID from all overnight guests prior to arrival.  Visits from non-registered guests are not permitted without prior approval.  Parties are strictly prohibited on the premises.  Quiet hours begin at 10 PM; loud music is strictly prohibited during this time.  Smoking is not permitted indoors.  Pets are welcome with advance approval.  We do not host bachelor parties on our properties.  Any form of illegal activity, including prostitution, will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.
