A convenient parking is located a few steps from the apartment in about 5 mins walk away (they charge 6 euros daily but it is possible to buy a subscription for 50 euros to leave the car for up to 30 days). The apartment is located in the most charming area of the town - the medieval district - very convenient to all sightseeing: 100 metres away from the main shopping street VIA FILLUNGO, 150 metres away from PIAZZA SAN MICHELE, 200 metres away from the PIAZZA GRANDE (also known as Piazza Napoleone) and the Lucca Summer Festival Concerts, 150 metres from the Theatre, 200 metres from The Cathedral of San Martino and the Guinigi Tower - one of the most renowned attractions of the town. The property was originally a 1600s Carriage House and has been totally renovated in mid 2018 and has a spacious portion of antique garden with several corners for dining and relaxing admiring the century old trees. The apartment is fully air conditioned and is provided with the most reliable wifi connection provided by the national phone company. The apartment has a romantic view over the private garden and has a porch to have dining outside as well as a patio with sofas and loungers under the century old trees. The apartment comes with a laundry room with washer and clothes dryer, iron and board. The fully equipped kitchen has dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, steam oven, 5 ring stoves, freezer, refrigerator, a wide selection of pots and pans with several cooking utensils and quality china crockeries, toaster, american coffee maker and a kettle. Anything special that might be needed will be bought for my guests with pleasure! The 49’’inch flat tv in the master bedroom has Sky channels and Amazon Tv with movies in english and a wide selection of international channels. 4 guests can sleep comfortably: the master bedroom with 4 windows overlooking the garden has a king size colonial bed by Flamant with a high end quality mattress and memory foam pillows while the second bedroom with quality mattress and state of the art bathroom fittings is located in the hayloft just across the outdoor dining area. COVID_19 CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 2021 AND 2022 BOOKINGS In these challenging times we understand your concern when making a reservation, and we want to ensure that you feel safe and confident reserving through us. We have therefore introduced a more flexible cancellation policy, for bookings made after November 2020, with arrivals in 2020, 2021 and 2022. In case of travel restrictions of the Italian Government due to COVID_19 we will give our guests the possibility of re-scheduling the reservation to a future date. If you aren’t able to decide a date immediately we will issue a voucher, that you can use for any future booking, on any of our properties. We are sorry but we are not in the position to take into consideration travel restrictions issued by other Governments, or airline cancellations.
