Enrich your mind and soul with a stay in this treasure trove of a home on the iconic island of Capri. Set in the northeast corner of the island, the villa is positioned next to Villa Lysis, a renowned cultural centre, and just a stone’s throw from the magnificent Villa Jovis, the former residence of the Emperior Tiberius.
Built by the talented intellectual Marguerite Hoffman (1884-1966), the house was designed by her personal friend, the Art Nouveau painter Melchior Lechter. Lechter’s contribution to the villa is still very much apparent, in its design, paintings, furniture and most significant, in the Art Nouveau fireplace in the lounge which features in many books about Capri. Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
