Ipanema is the neighborhood of Bossa Nova, the Girl from Ipanema by Tom Jobim, Arpoador and the charming beach. Ipanema is one of the best options for those looking for where to stay in Rio de Janeiro. Like Copacabana, it has an excellent infrastructure and transport and accommodation options. The neighborhood is full of shops with the best of carioca fashion, great restaurants and bars to go after the beach.
Pedra do Arpoador, which is a great tourist spot and is also part of Ipanema Beach, which still has a charming little beach called Praia da Macumba, where the famous “Flintstone Academy” is located, built basically on the base of the cement in the paint can used to turn dumbbells and is frequented by people passionate about working out, sitting at Pedra do arpoador to watch the sunset, is one of the most impactful moments of a visit to this city.

Payment and Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules
- - Optional services:
- Arrival out of schedule: 140 BRL per booking.
- Late Check out: 140 BRL per booking.
- Crib: 150 BRL per booking. Max. quantity: 1.
