Holmdale is a wonderful property right in the heart of Ambleside.
The property has been thoughtfully renovated by the current owners, who have created a stylish space for family and friends.
The open plan dining-kitchen with it’s log burner is the perfect hub for your stay, with a separate living room, and two double bedrooms; the master bedroom has a lovely ensuite. The second bedroom has a zip and link bed that can be configured as either a double or a twin, and the family bathroom with a shower over a bath is a great place to soak after a days walking.
The central location of Holmdale puts you in the heart of the attractions of Ambleside, but on sunny days you can also sit out at the back of the property and chill out.

Payment and Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
