Gray Goose Beach Cottage
As one of the few properties in Coos Bay that’s located right on the water (just 25 feet off the deck), this inviting home is a place to spend sunny days relaxing on the bayfront, observing an abundance of local bird life, and watching the boats come and go through the channel. Beach towels, buckets, shovels, rubber boots, and a crab trap are included.
Step inside this unique cottage to find new flooring and plush carpeting throughout, and charming, mariner-inspired decor with pictures of tall-masted sailing beauties that enhance your proximity to the water. There’s a large picture window that frames a view of the bay out back, an electric fireplace to help melt away your stress and keep the living room cozy when the fog rolls in, and sliding glass doors that open to a deck and a pebbly beach area at the water’s edge. The well-equipped, full kitchen has plentiful cabinetry and every essential appliance, and there’s ample space to dine both at the table inside and outside beneath the umbrella on the deck. In the evenings, enjoy spectacular sunset views over the bay, and as night falls, enjoy the solar lighting illuminating the sailboat flagpole and the rope railing on the deck. This delightfully charming retreat has it all - view, water, and location!
This waterfront home is located right on the shores of Coos Bay, just west of the Cape Arago Highway and five miles west of downtown Coos Bay. When you’re not enjoying the bayshore in your backyard, race your ATV across the dunes, or if you brought your boat along, the Empire Boat ramp is just a mile away, while the Charleston Marina Complex is only four miles south. Charleston is also where you can walk the docks to appreciate the commercial fishing fleet, browse several unique gift shops, and visit one of the many restaurants offering some of the freshest fish on the Oregon coast.
