Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House Rules

  • Consent to Electronic Transaction
  • You accept, agree to, and affirmatively consent to the use of electronic transactions and electronic completion of the Vacation Rental Agreement (the "Agreement"), and you agree that such action shall be your consent and electronic signature. You also agree that electronic signatures, electronic records, and electronic documents shall be given full force and effect, as if they were original, hand-executed documents. You agree that the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and the North Carolina Uniform Electronic Transactions Act shall apply to this Agreement and transactions with Topsail Realty. This consent (the "Consent") applies to all transactions between you and us and to all records that may be provided or made available to you by us during the course of your relationship with us and will remain valid until affirmatively withdrawn as described below. The terms "we," "us," "our" and similar terms in this Consent refer to Carolina Retreats Vacations.
  • You as the Tenant have the right to have this Consent, the Agreement, and any subsequent documents which are required by law to be delivered in writing to you, provided or made available to you in paper form (i.e., "hard copy"). To obtain a hard copy of this Consent or the Agreement, you may print this Consent or the Agreement, or you may request a hard copy of this document by sending an email message to Info@CarolinaRetreats.com or a letter to PO BOX 2335, Surf City, NC 28445 containing a clear statement of your request and your full mailing address. You will not be charged a fee to obtain a hard copy of this Consent, reservation information, or the Vacation Rental Agreement.
  • If at any time you wish to withdraw your consent to the use of electronic transactions and/or receive in electronic form any subsequent documents which we are required by law to deliver in writing to you, send an email message or a letter to the address provided above containing a clear statement of your revocation of consent and your full mailing address. You will not be charged a fee to receive hard copies of subsequent documents which we are required by law to deliver in writing to you.
  • You may update your contact information, including your email address, by emailing Info@CarolinaRetreats.com and you agree to do so immediately upon any change in your contact information.
  • You agree and affirmatively consent (i) to this Consent, (ii) to enter into the Vacation Rental Agreement with electronic completion and signature using electronic means – you will receive an email in follow up with instructions on how to access the agreement and make payment electronically; (iii) to conduct all other transactions with us by electronic means, (iv) that we may provide to you all disclosures, notices, and other information required by law, as well as all other documents, communications, and information that we may provide to you, by electronic means (v) that your action of clicking "Agree to Terms" constitutes your electronic signature to this Consent, and (vi) that electronic signatures, electronic records, and electronic documents shall be given full force and effect, as if they were original, hand-executed documents.
