Closer, at 1.5km, is the village of Magganos, with two excellent mini markets and tavernas. On the coast below the Villa, via a winding route, the tiny beach of Alikies is a delightful spot for sea bathing and although the tables at the taverna on the rocks just above the beach are often fully booked for ’the best’ sunset views, this won’t worry the guests here who have their own private, poolside sunset view table.
