The contemporary and spacious villa is located in the tranquil, pretty village of Aldeia do Meco, 2.4km from Bicas Beach, 3km from the beautiful Meco Beach, 13km from Sesimbra and 40km from Lisbon. With 4 bedrooms in total, the villa sleeps up to 8 guests in modern comfort. Casa do Loren and the villa next door, Quinta do Lorenzo, can be booked together to accommodate up to 16 guests.

The peaceful village of Aldeia do Meco is known for its gorgeous, unspoilt beach with breathtaking sunsets and delicious seafood restaurants. At the northern end of Meco Beach, the picturesque Lagoa de Albufeira is a lagoon popular for windsurfing, sailing and stand-up paddle boarding. Alfarim, another attractive village, is 3km away with good, varied shops, a bakery, butcher, bank, supermarkets and cosy cafes. Lisbon is just 30 minutes away by car.

Casa do Loren is situated in a tranquil, natural region with excellent wine cellars that you can visit when you return from the spectacular beaches. The cuisine offered in the region is excellent and includes much fresh fish as well as local cheeses and the small, popular swiss rolls or tortas that are specialities of the region. Golf fans will be delighted with the recommended championship golf courses, Quinta do Peru (20 km), Aroeira (30 km), Montado (40 km), Santo Estevão (40 km) and Tróia (40 km).   Half an hour away is the vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Lisbon. Popular attractions of Lisbon are the much photographed, colourful trams, the foodie haven Time Out Market, the Oceanarium, the zoo, the pretty azulejos, the different markets, the fabulous wine bars and restaurants, the historic monuments, the lovely waterfront and the fabulous squares. Close by, Belem is very popular for its specialist pastry shop, monastery and botanic gardens.    A very short drive from the villa is the fabulous town of Sesimbra. The fresh fish is delicious and can be eaten in the many Marisqueira restaurants or bought at the buzzy fish market. The beach stretches around the whole bay and is lovely and sandy. If you walk around the cliffs towards Biscas Beach you will come to Cabo Espichel, a wild and exposed cliff headland, boasting two sets of dinosaur footprints, a lighthouse and incredible views. The headland was once an important pilgrimage destination. Sebutal is at the heart of the Portuguese sardine industry and also famed for its sweet and globally acclaimed moscatel wine.   If you want to compare coastlines you can visit the lovely town of Cascais from Lisbon. Cascais was historically the summer retreat of the Portuguese nobility. Today it is an elegant fusion of fabulous heritage and modern tourism. There are various museums, an imposing fort and charming shops and restaurants within the cobbled streets of the historic centre

Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
  • For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

  • Security deposit : €600 charged to client’s credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

  • Heating costs included? : Not included in the rental price, extra cost of €140 per week, to be paid at the time of the booking (optional).
  • Linen & towels included? : Yes, included in rental price.
  • Pool towels included? : Not included in the rental price, extra €5 per towel per stay, to be paid at the time of the booking (optional).
  • End of stay cleaning included? : Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
  • Internet access? : Wi-Fi internet access included.
  • Minimum stay : 7 nights. All other durations on request.
  • Changeover day : Saturday during peak season.
  • Pets welcome? : Not allowed.
  • Pool heating charge? : For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of € 20 per day(to be paid to OT prior to travel). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
  • Smoking Allowed? : Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
  • Pool heating charge? : Not available in this property.
  • Tax : Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
  • Insurance : Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
