In the summer, you can go mountain biking in the bike park, tee off at the nearby Sugar Ski & Country Club or the Ole Esval Sugar Mountain Municipal Golf Course, or head over to Grandfather Mountain to hike in the state park or cross the famous Mile-High Swinging Bridge with an incredible view of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.
