Central Austin has its own unique character, even though downtown is only three-and-a-half miles away. Enjoy a cupcake at Mozart’s Coffee Roasters or pick up some Buffalo Cauliflower Wings at the Beer Plant, both within one mile of the townhouse. Rent a canoe or kayak and explore Lady Bird Lake three-and-a-half miles out, or have a jog around Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail (which runs up and down the river).
